Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim Suspension Winnipeg

Are you trying to find sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim suspension in Winnipeg?

Our compounding pharmacy lab does make Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim 40mg/8mg/mL Suspension.  Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim suspension is also known as Cotrimoxizole suspension.

Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim suspension compound is one of our most commonly made compounds.

We began making this suspension when commercially-available suspensions stopped being manufactured or the suspensions were not commercially available due to long-term back orders.  This suspension is made for children or adults who have difficulty swallowing tablets.

This suspension can be flavored to increase the palatability.  Common flavors we have include cherry and bubble gum.  Please ask us about our other flavors if you are interested.

This suspension contains 40mg of sulfamethoxazole per mL and 8mg of trimethoprim per mL.  This gives a final concentration of sulfamethoxazole 200mg per 5mL and trimethoprim 40mg per 5mL.

5mL of Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim 200mg/40mg/5mL is equivalent to one regular Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim tablet.

10mL of Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim 200mg/40mg/5mL is equivalent to one Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim DS tablet.
