Tache Pharmacy has been part of the Winnipeg community since 1974. Located on Taché Avenue across from St. Boniface Hospital, our pharmacy has supported generations of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals throughout the city.
Today, Tache Pharmacy continues this tradition as an independent pharmacy, committed to providing safe, dependable, and accessible pharmacy services.
Our team includes pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, and support staff who work together to help patients understand and manage their medications in a clear and supportive way. We value communication, respect, and building long-term relationships with the people and care teams we serve.
Our History
Tache Pharmacy was founded more than 45 years ago by Dr. William (Bill) Balacko, PharmD, who remains actively involved with our pharmacy community. Over the years, we have supported patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers throughout Winnipeg, including those in hospital environments, long-term care facilities, community programs, and residential settings.
Our pharmacy has collaborated with personal care homes, group homes, residential programs, and community organizations to support medication management and communication between care teams.
